This ia s very personal site reflecting the lifestyle of a famous teacher of rope bondage, an artist and a dedicated veteran, living in The Netherlands. Hans Meijer, known by many lifestylers (including me) for his truly great efforts being one of the very first persons outside of Japan to export and spread the joyful and erotic art of traditional Japanese bondage (AKA: nawa shibari & Kinbaku)to the rest of the world. And we are forever greatful for that!!

This site reflects Hans Meijer's personal lifestyle and has the general topic of TPE (it stands for Total Power Exchange, (sometimes also known as Absolute Power Exchange or APE).

According to Hans Meijer, "the essence of TPE is in the fact that the exchange takes place in the beginning of the relationship. As opposed to all other forms of BDSM there is no growth in the amount of power, exchanged between partners. It is total, absolute, all-encompassing and non-negotiable from the start. And something that is already total cannot get any larger. Compare it to a lightbulb: flip the switch and it is ON. Flip the switch again and it is OFF. And these are the exact two choices, a slave has in a TPE relationship: he or she can either be the full and total slave of the owner - or leave the relationship altogether."

It's a fine site with a very personal touch, and quite educating and entertaining too, even for those having been in the D/slifestyle for many years.
